Japneet Bhinder Shayari's & Articles - Was Mirza Real?

Mirza, the protagonist of the love story Mirza Sahiba, was he real? Or was he a part of our mythic lore? Was he as real as flesh and blood or was he a figment of active imagination? Did he really pursue Sahiba or is it just content for songs? Was he really killed under the“Jund” or was it a dramatic closing? All these questions are asked and wondered upon. One thing is for sure that the village of Mirja was Danabad and this village truly exists in Pakistan. We have come across a book title “Uth Gaye Guwando Yaar”, written by Harnek Singh Ghaduan. Yes, its the same minister Ghaduan that we know, apparently he has been at the forefront of relations between the two Punjabs. He had travveled to Pakistan many times and he always tried to dig up the truth behind the love stories of ancient Punjab. This excerpt is the first chapter of the book which details the location of Mirza and Sahiba’s “Kabar” and his visit at the very place.

It seems that its very true, Indeed Mirza Sahiba were real and all the songs about the two are real. it’s not just a figment of our imagination. The book itself, is a document of vital importance as it details not just Mirza Sahiba, but many other folk tales. The book is not easily available. I got it from the lyricist Dev Tharike Wala Saab. Im trying to get to the depth of this and am trying to get the rights to publish it on www.punjabiportal.com as most of the Punjabies will never be able to buy it first hand.
For the time being, here are four pages from the book:
